About Sprout Parenting
A magical place for all your natural parenting needs! Sprout's initial storefront location began in Brattleboro, Vermont in June of 2006. Sprout was designed based upon the visions and beliefs of its owner, Laura Louisell. We offer a full line of natural parenting products, services, and free workshops covering areas ranging from breast feeding to cloth diapering. A list of the current and upcoming month's workshop schedules for each store can be found under our Store Locations page.
In addition to the variety of workshops offered, our Sprout location offers a family friendly restroom with a changing table and child size toilet. Hand felted wool trees and toy cubbies for children to play are just two of the unique features that you'll enjoy in each store. The fluid feminine design inspired by the womb and the creation of life form nurturing interior spaces.
Our involvement with the community has developed into both a personal and professional relationship. Sprout carries both locally and regionally produced gifts!
Laura Louisell is also the Director of Global Children, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the welfare of children working with orphaned children in Cambodia and she also owns Khmer Handmade Goods, importers of Cambodian handmade silks. She resides with her husband and three children.
